Predators in Biological Control – Orders of predatory insects, their main families and groups of other animals that present predatory forms. Parasitism in Biological Control – Orders of parasitoid insects, their characteristics and their main families. Types of parasitism. Specificity in parasitoids. Introduction and adaptation of entomophagous insects. Populations and components of the ecosystem’s trophic chain. Successful programs in biological control.
