Course Program
Practical importance of taxonomy for integrated pest management (IPM), background and objectives. Identification of insect pests of the main annual crops, fruit trees and pastures. Training in preparing small insects for identification. Training in the preparation of anatomical and morphological structures of genitalia for safer identification of insects. Training in the observation of the main external morphological characters of the insects on which the identifications are based.
