The Crop Protection Graduate Program aims to train highly qualified professionals to develop teaching, research and extension activities to meet the important demand for training human resources in Brazil and in the MERCOSUL countries. The program enables training in the areas of research of entomology, plant patology and weed science, preparing the professional to work with sustainable management of insects, diseases and weeds. Furthermore, the activities of the program have contributed to the generation of new knowledge and methodologies related to plant health, the dissemination of technologies and environmental quality.
